| If I change the number of sensors connected to the recorder how do I make the Recorder see the changes.

There are two ways to make this happen:
1. Disconnect the dc battery power from the Recorder input terminals. Wait 20 seconds and then reconnect the power. This will force the recorder to check the number of sensors now in the system, and set the printer and display to show only these sensors.
2. Go into the "program menu" by briefly pressing the "up/own" keys together and releasing. The display will show "1.EXIT". press the return key and the recorder will return to its operating mode. Durings its return to the operating mode the recorder checks the number of sensors on the system and sets the display and print out facility to show the correct configuration.
NOTE:
Always use the lowest sensor numbers for your installation.
If only 1 sensor is fitted use position S1
If only 2 sensors are fitted use position S1,S2
If only 3 sensors are fitted use position S1,S2,S3
If only 4 sensors are fitted use position S1,S2,S3,S4
If only 5 sensors are fitted use position S1,S2,S3,S4,S5
For older Z80 based units use method 2.
